Man Believes Shoestring Ghost Decor Will Haunt People’s Dreams

RUMMY ST Local resident, Barker Callahan, is overestimating how scary his front yard Halloween set up really is, saying a shoestring ghost in his yard is going to haunt people’s dreams like Halloween villain Freddy Krueger.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if someone straight up cried in fear at the sight of this thing,” said Barker as he adjusted the makeshift ghost on a fishing line, “plus I got the green fog which just ups the fright factor by about 1,000%.”

“This thing will probably have people running out of the yard, it looks just like it’s floating,” continued Barker as the ghost swayed in the wind clearly hooked onto a fishing pole by an old shoestring.

Neighbor Paulie Splenda said she will “act surprised I guess since he’s been working on this thing for a couple hours, but won’t make any promises.”

Barker fired up the theatrical fog saying “Once I light the jack-o-lantern it’s game over, I don’t think people will even step in the yard,” continued Barker as the motor in the fog machine could be heard from 7 blocks away. “I just hope no one has a heart attack after seeing this display.”

Barker scared himself 10+ times during set-up as the shoestring ghost floated into him when his back was turned making him question if he should just shut down his whole operation.
